Engine Rebuilds or
Remanufactured Engine Replacement or Installations
Lehman's Automotive Services,
Inc
Hi! It's
Keith Lehman again. If you were to ask the average person how often a
repair shop like Lehman's Automotive would rebuild or replace an engine, I'm
certain they would say almost never. The thought would be that if the
engine is blown, you'd have no other choice but to buy a new
car.
Well as you can now guess
by now an engine replacement is quite common. The reason is primarily due
to economics - "This car is in perfect shape, except for a blown
engine." When you figure the cost for the remanufactured replacement
in terms of the number of new car payments, the payback might be too
overwhelming to ignore. Obviously, there is a many other reasons why an
engine replacement might be the right choice. The key is, that there is
more than one choice to consider.
Of course there is always
a risk as the rebuild is only part of the equation. The remanufactured
engine does have a limited warranty, but the labor to remove and install it is
not covered under that warranty.
Obviously, the choice is
yours. If you'd like to more more information about it, we'd be happy to provide you
with a cost estimate and answer any of your questions. Just give us a
call.
